ehh... I dont know.

I'd prefer a maltese. ( a sissy dog.. the boys say) I'd consider a shizu but a woman at work has one.... its gross. I know i can't them all for hers... but Everytime i think about one... I think about that dog.

My DH bought me a dog a few months ago. I didn't think h would get it for me because they tend to be expensive. We found a lady who wasn't trying to make money off them and so now I have my Yorkshire terrier, Beau! Laughing I wanted a Yorkie because they are very smart dogs. Besides being smart they are very cute. Please, don't fall for the teacup scam. It's all bull..

Beau looks like a little trouble maker. Look at those eyes!

My beautiful baby boy is half chihuahua half beagle and lemme tell you, he couldn't behave better. He doesn't bark and he learns fast.

My parents have two peekapoos (half pekingese half poodle) and they are the CUTEST dogs ever...i will see if i can find a picture. They're also really well behaved, a little more yappy though.

My husband had a shihtzu/maltese mix and she was adorable. But she is the only dog in either of those breeds I have ever liked. I worked at a dog kennel for many years and had some crazy experiences with them, especially maltese. But those were just the dogs I saw. Not all are like that in a breed. I love my miniature long haired dachsund tho! Amazing little dog.

I would really like either a maltese or an english bull dog. But if I go out to CA... I'm afraid the bulldog would die. They have heat strokes easily... but I love them. We used to have one. She was great!

I love my mini doxie too! They're very smart, have tons of personality and are good watch dogs. Some people complain of difficulty potty training but we didn't have that problem. We were looking for a smaller dog that wasn't yippie and didn't shed (ours is short hair) and got exactly what we wanted. I totally agree that they are amazing little dogs!

And as always I recommend going to a shelter or a rescue for a dog. If you look hard enough you can always find any purebred you are looking for.

Where in cali are you going to? It really doesn't get that how here. San Diego maybe 80 in the summer unless it's a record high. today June, it's like 71.

Fort Irwin...inbetween Vegas and LA... in the desert.. Last time i was there... the car temp and the TV said 120. no joke.

Besides we had to be careful with ours here. They over eat to easily and its hard for htem to breathe anyhow. You think you're snoring husbands are bad... get a bulldog. Ha... its quite amusing... until they wake you up snoring at 2 am. lol

Hubby grew up near El Centro.. yeah he hated it too. When we visit his family I can't put up with that type of heat.

29 palms? Is that a city... or something to do with the marines? Lol... that might sound stupid but i really dont know!

That 120 is nothing.

Compard tooo

Seriously... come to Alabama when its only 93... It feels worse then CA's dry heat of 120. We are so humid here... smothers you. I don't know why but it feels soooo much worse.

Oh the way home from a visit...We drove the 40. it was perfect until we got into Oklahoma. The humidity started to seep in. OH GEEZ... so horrid.
